In 2021, I was brought on as the first writer to lead content for Mailchimp & Co—Mailchimp’s exclusive partner program that launched in 2020 with big ambitions. Designed for agencies and freelancers helping businesses grow, the program wasn’t just another benefits portal. It aimed to build a true collective: one where creative professionals could gain skills, raise their profile, and connect with a broader community.

My task was to help give that vision a voice. From strategic messaging frameworks to editorial campaigns, I helped develop the tone, structure, and storytelling that would define the partner experience. Every piece of content had to do more than inform—it had to validate the work of independent professionals and make their partnership with Mailchimp feel not only useful, but essential.

Over time, the program evolved from a promising experiment into a global network. Being there early meant shaping not just the words, but the worldview—crafting a content foundation sturdy enough to grow with it.
